Pre and Post Procedure Care
Pre Procedure:

Do not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor
-
Avoid taking aspirin, nurofen or other blood thinning medications two days before the procedure
-
Do not drink alcohol or coffee within 24 hours of your appointment
-
Any waxing should be performed at least 48 hours before the appointment and laser treatments within 5 days.
-
Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken within 2 weeks of your appointment

Post Procedure:
​
You may experience these symptoms for the 72 hours after your procedure
-
flaking
-
tenderness
-
dryness and itching
-
swelling and redness
Daily Care includes
-
On the first day, you may find ice (protected by a cloth) helpful to reduce swelling and redness
-
Avoid water to the treated area for the first 24 hours and avoid cleanser for the following 72 hours
-
Apply aftercare balm minimum twice daily and ensure washing your hands before applying.

Keep hair away from the treated area to avoid infection
-
Do not pick, peel or scratch the area while it is healing. Allow any flaking to fall off naturally
-
Avoid makeup on the treated area while they heal
-
Do not expose the area to direct sunlight, salt water, pools, spray tan or hot water for two weeks following the procedure.

If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), we advise you to contact your doctor to obtain a prescription for antivirals to help with any outbreaks that may occur

Alternatively, you can purchase over-the-counter medications like Zovirax from your local chemist to use during aftercare.

Lip waxing or bleaching should not be undertaken for at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
Post Procedure:

Avoid kissing and getting the area wet while they heal. If they get wet, gently pat dry
